ECF Community Impact Challenge Grants

Through the generosity of donors throughout the community, the Edwardsville Community Foundation (ECF) is able to award Community Impact Challenge grants to not-for-profit organizations that make a substantial and broad impact on our community. ECF will accept grant applications for its Community Impact Grants throughout the year and is prepared to award grants up to $5,000 while funding lasts.

Any 501(c)3, nonprofit agency, organization or government entity as documented by the Internal Revenue Service and services the needs of individuals residing in the Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7 (ECUSD #7) boundaries is welcome to apply.

The Edwardsville Community Foundation is a 501(c)3 community based charitable organization whose vision is to enrich the quality of life in the communities we serve (Edwardsville, Glen Carbon, Hamel, Moro, Dorsey, Worden and surrounding areas). ECF’s Community Impact Grants seek to:

  • Support projects that enhance the quality of life for residents of ECUSD #7

  • Support projects that are not adequately funded by existing community resources

  • Support projects that facilitate cooperation between tax-exempt community organizations

  • Support projects that provide benefits for many residents

What is the Challenge in our Impact grants?

If awarded grant funds, ECF asks that you raise 10% of the grant amount needed from new cash donations. Grants will be paid once the 10% match of the grant amount is achieved. Grantees will have 60 days to obtain the 10% matching funds.
