These three nonprofits each have major capital projects that need your support.  Please donate to your favorite nonprofit or donate to all three below!!

The Community Sharing Program is a short-term initiative designed to bring our community together to benefit important local causes. For six weeks, the Community Sharing Program will help these local nonprofits fund their special projects. The Community Sharing Program runs through April 20 - May 31. ​Six Weeks to Make A Difference! Your donation to the Edwardsville Children's Museum, Main Street Community Center, or Watershed Nature Center will be matched by the available funds made possible through the generosity of ECF's Donor Advised Funds.

Funds to build Access Nature - $200,000

This project will modify the entrance at the Watershed Nature Center to allow for greater access and understanding of native habitats located in the park.


Funds to build new Discovery Garden - $150,000

The Discovery Garden will be a free outdoor nature-based play area, designed to inspire hands-on discovery and physical play.

Parking Lot Resurfacing - $45,000

​The parking lot has become uneven and is a hazard to walk on. It needs resurfacing.​

Provides over 40 acres of natural habitats for local animals and plant life, and has paved walking trails for people to enjoy. SIUE uses the Center for scientific research and education.

Provides transportation, hot meals, social outings, and travel for seniors and people with disabilities – so they can live healthy, happy, independent lives. Main Street Community Center is in the business of creating Super Agers! They make Edwardsville a wonderful community to enjoy the senior years.

Provides hands-on exploration and learning for children of all ages. It provides unique exhibits, summer programs and educational outreach. This is the only children’s museum in the Metro East area.
